Read this if you care about your health and the planet you live on (remembering of course that they are inseparable). But be prepared to be scared.
Gawd, some days I think that getting cancer is pretty much inevitable. How depressing. :( Today I feel like walking around shaking people, screaming "WAKE UP!"
I'm especially stoked to learn that my new(ish) mattress is probably still off-gassing flame retardants that I'm absorbing into my blood. Sweet. :(
(Thanks to Christopher Haase for the link.)
I have the same feeling...

Fri, 2006-11-03 14:11 — conductorchrisSarah, thanks for flagging this article. I feel like there is very little real information out there, although I have a feeling of unease and a feeling that a lot of people are sticking their heads in the sand.
OK, so the implications in this article are a little interesting. Are they saying that chemicals could be changing our temprement. That is, could the presence of toxic chemicals be linked to gender equality and maybe homosexuality? Not quite sure what to think about that.
I've also been very concerned lately with the alarming increase in ADD (etc). Kids now have fundementally different biochemistries than a generation ago. I can only assume that environmental chemicals are a culpret.
