I Am That Person

I just became the person I used to disparage.

I just called a California phone number, to inquire about making accommodation reservations, without even stopping to consider that it was 7:30 in the morning on the west coast. Someone at this small lodge answered the phone and told me I would have to call back after 8am.

So, there's the definitive answer, I guess. In case you were wondering, apparently it takes six months in Toronto in order for the belief that you ARE the centre of the universe, and the world revolves around you, to really take hold.

About this Site

A hodge-podge of random thoughts, musings, and links – sometimes about social change, sometimes about technology and the web, sometimes about yoga, and occasionally about knitting. Sometimes (because I'm a Canadian girl with deep roots in the British Isles) I even write about the weather.

I'm a yoga teacher, founder of Yoga for Geeks, and a freelance web writer, strategist, and project manager. I also help to co-create the amazing Web of Change Conference, every September in beautiful British Columbia.
